Darling's birthday on the 4th July... Celebrated her birthday on 3rd July, Friday, at her school...

Only went down to her school for the celebration at 3pm as Draling was not feeling well for the last entire week... She was sick since Tuesday... Still has a little coughing on Friday....

We bought some snacks for her friends... & collected her 3kg 3d Barbie Doll Princess Cake... Tat costs $75 lor... More ex den her last year Minnie Mouse Cake....

Okie... She insisted on that cake... She is crazy over Barbie Doll & Princess lately....

Hubby had an early release that day from work... So, he came to Darling's school... Wanting to celebrate her birthday together actually...But, celebration was over when he reached, so we just bring her home to pass her her birthday prezzie...

This year, Darling has super ALOT of prezzie from the both of us lah....

The most wanted prezzie that she wants is her WII SET... & she got it on her birthday, FINALLY....hahahaha... Darling was so happie lah....

Den, the next day when Im getting a prezzie for Lele, Its a Ben10 Bag... & Darling saw a Cinderella bag, & she wants it too... Act, she din say she wants it act, but i told her mummy will be only buying for Lele as its a gift for him... Den, my girl gives me a very "kelian" face... aiyoh... So, I ended up buying one for her too... The bag is not cheap wor... Cuz the 2 bags are not those imitations brand de lor... They are all authentic Disney brand lor!!!! Cost ard $30 each wor!!!!!

Anw, on the very day of Darling's birthday, Hubby still got to work as he took part in NDP this year too... But, he passed me 4 tickets & Darling, me, Kris & Lele went for the NDP Rehearsal.... Not a bad show... Kris even say she feels so "ai guo" suddenly while watching the show....hahahahaha

Tat was at ard 5pm on Saturday lah... Before tat, e 4 of us went for Ice Age 3 3d movie... Tat was so hilarious lah!!! hahhahaha.. Darling got scared by the 3d image every time cuz they were like so near to us....Lol... Its realli a GREAT movie!!!! hahahaha.....

After the movie, we went for a bit of shopping at FOX Kids before we met Hubby at the flyers for Popeye... We bought a cap each for the kids in FOX....

& off we go to the National Day Parade Rehearsal....

& after the NDP show, we went to East Coast for supper!!!! (",)

Thats all for Saturday, for my Darling's birthday celebration...

The next day on Sunday... Its my birthday celebration!!! hahahaha.... As I say, Hubby so lucky lah... Darling & my birthday is so near to each other...hahaha.. Can save cost oso....Lol...

So, we returned to Suntec again... Hubby din wana tell me what he wanna bring me for dinner... But I kinda expected that he will be bringing me for Chong Qing Steamboat at the fountain area... Cuz I haf been craving for tat since dunno how many 64213540 years alreadi... hahaha...

Not easy to gif mi a surprise ah, Hubby?! hahahaha

Last year, I oso expected him to bring me to Dembsey Jumbo for my birthday dinner...hahaha...

Okie, seriously, I only love Chong Qing Steamboat at Suntec... The food is very fresh, no self service... So mani side dish + dessert... The soup is wonderful... The sauce is fantastic...The drink is nice... They haf better food than outside steamboat!!! & of course, the price is steeper!!! A $90 for e both of us....

Now, blogging on my very own birthday... Im so looking forward to meeting my gers on the 18th July, to celebrate both of Xiu & my birthday...haha... Im so excited & anxious to see my gift... hahahaha.... It will be a GREAT gift!!!! Lol...(",)v

Kris, Lele, Darling & me went for the Barney show... Darling was super high & enjoyed herself very much... However, Lele seem very moody throughout the show... I think he still prefer Thomas & Frenz....

& yah...I think Im super late updating this, it happens on the 6th June....

Audrey's birthday at Taka... Hard to get a seat at 6.30pm at Orchard.... As in, no mater which restaurant we went to, it was so packed!!!! More photoss at facebook... Xiu, if u wanna see ALL the pictures, hahahaha... OPen a facebook account & add me.....lol....(^^)v

We celebrated Audrey's birthday on the 13th June.... & got her a super nice Burberry Card holder... I love it lah... I cant ask for anymore birthday prezzie... Hubby had alreadi got me the bag I wanted....yesh...thats the item that I had mentioned in my previous post... A Gucci Bag....

Off track abit, We went Taka to shop for our blender & gift for hubby's colleagues son, & We happened to meet Kris & Lele there wor.. So coincidence!!! Singapore is indeed very small!!!

Next, At Cousin's wedding at Rasa Sentosa Resort on 14th June... Super far & troublesome wor....Cz we got to park our car at Beach Station den take the tram to the resort...Argh... Food was not that fantastic either!!! But the bride is indeed very sexy.... But super hard to take her photo, hence, no pictures of the bride...Only pictures of me & me cousin....

I was super buzy that week....hahahaha....

& the following day, 15th June, I went to meet the NOKS.... Again, more pictures at facebookm same to the wedding pictures too above..... We went Vivo for shopping & chit chat....The kids were playing at the 2nd floor & they were so happie too.....

Den, I went to OTO to get hubby his birthday prezzie too.... It s massager for him as he kept saying he has backache... Tat costs me $238 wor!!! We bought a small little cake from Bread Talk too to sing happie birthday song to Hubby....

& The cab fare from Vivo to my home was so ex lah... Freaking $30!!! Cuz of the ERP & peak hour!!! Argh.....Hubby kept saying if he knew the cab fare will be so ex, he would come n fetch Xuan & me...

I think Im not blogging for so long long long already...

Cuz Im very busy with my home for the past few weeks...

& Just took Darling( Princess Xuan) for her Barney show with Kris & Lele....

Enjoyable show for Darling!!!!

I dunno why... But Hubby & me like to call Xuan Darling nowadays!!!!

& Hubby bought something very nice for me.... So happie lah!!!

We were like SO SO SO angry with our contractor!!!!

By right, my house shd be DONE by 15th May2009!!!!

Okie... The reno started on 23rd April 2009....

& The contractor did say that he will need 3 weeks to finish my whole house reno...

But what the hell lah... We went checking 2 times per week after 23rd... Alright, The first week was okie... He hacked the kitchen existing cabinet, lay the kitchen tiles, paint the whole house ( except master bedroom), done my 2 toilets( 1/2 ways).... & Thats it!!!

Throughout the next 2 weeks, its STILL THE SAME!!! & Hubby did call the contractor ( Jason) lotsa of times asking him hows everything, & he alwuz reply making in process in the factories!!! & Hubby did give him all the measurement on time ( the washing machine, fridge measurement, the fonts that I want to put on my toilet door) & everything, including paying him on time, but reno STILL not done last friday, 15th May!!!!!

That time, I told Jason that I will arrange for my furniture & electrical appliances to be in on 23rd May 2009... & he was like very confidently saying that "23rd!!! Too late le lah, The reno shd have been done by then, mebbie u shd arrange earlier..."

So, okie... I arrange on the 16th May 2009 for everything to arrive... & what the heck, reno still not done!!!

We were so super fed up with Jason & called him on last Thursday.14th May, & rushed all the way down to his office... wanna to question him actually... Cuz its already 14th May, & kitchen cabinet still not up( in fact, my whole kitchen is still empty, with only the floor... Yah... empty in the sense of only 4 walls & tiles), both toilets spray guns, mirrors, door, glass divider not done, my masterbedroom not yet paint, my lighting not yet install, my mirrors not done, curtain rods not install yet.. so many things to be done, & its like only a day left!!!!

As he was not in the office & he is unable to rush down, we meet him at our house the next day, 15th May... This time round, we were supposed to meet at 8.30pm & he was late for 30mins... Hubby was super angry... We waited from 8-8.30pm & he haven reach... So, hubby locked the door & we went to the mart beside to have a drink... Hubby wanna Jason to have a taste of waiting for us... & Indeed Jason called at ard 9pm, saying he has reach... Den, Hubby told him that it was supposed to be 8.30 rite... So, since he was late, hubby said he went home to shower & asked Jason to wait for an hour....

Okie.. U may think that we were being v unreasonable & whats wrong with waiting for him for 30mins right???!!!

What the hell....We meet him 3 times...

1st time---> We waited for a FREAKING 2 Hours

2nd time---> We waited for a BlOODY 1 hour plus...

So, u noe why we were being so pissed off already lah!!!

Anw, I told hubby to go back to the house & settles he stuff fast lah...

So we headed back... & had a discussion wif him... & We were well prepared then, as we had came up with a contract asking Jason to sign... In the contract, we stated that the turnover ate must be on _______, if not he gonna compensate us 5% everyday he excced of the total amt...

Jason was shocked & asked us who came up with the contract, den Hubby wanna intimidate him & replied that we had a lawyer frenz... Jason did sign & amended some of the terms that we stated ( we agreed), He said that 5% is too much for him... So, nvm...we change to $100 per day....

That was the contract part... & we finalise on the day to be 26th May for everything to be done ( except for touching up)... Throughout the discussion, Jason was so stress of the datelines... We told him that we were not been unreasonable again...& had asked him what is he doing for the whole 2 weeks.. & he did admit that its his fault... So, he will try to compensate us... So, hubby decided to "A" on the mirror... The mirror costs ard $900 & we dun intend to pay him that....

But, whats annoying me is the KITCHEN CABINET... Previous owner had a kitchen cabinet already, but it was too short, like occupying 3/4 of the kitchen only... Hence, we did telll Jason that we wanna extend the cabinet to the whole kitchen... & It was him whosay that its very not worth to juzt extend & he recommend us to hack the existing one & do a new one... So, we agreed... & now he said that in our package, the cabinet is oni 3/4 length & so in between my fridge & cabinet... There will be an EMPTY SPACE!!! Gosh... It will be so ugly lah... I told him, I dun care cuz it is realli ugly looking in that way.. & we told him that we wanna haf a full cabinet e very first time we met & in his 3d pictures of the kitchen, its a full cabinet that he drew & now he said its oni 3/4!!!! Its like, if he mentioned this earlier, we can top up the money to make it into full... But now... Its like so LATE lah...I dun wana give in!!!! So, in the end Jason cae up with an idea of making the empty space into sumthing like a bar for me... Alrite, that was acceptable...

We will be moving in this friday, Everything else, except my kitchen will not be done till 26th May 2009, will be ready... This is because he is realli doing nothing for e whole 2 weeks lah... ( Mebie he has other bigger project to do, so he is earning more on that side & neglect this), The table & the cabinet is done... Only got to wait for my granite top, the tempered glass on the wall & the breakfast tempered glass shelves to be up a week later from today.. as he said that all this 3 can only be ordered today (18th may) after the table & the cabinet is done as this 3 items got to be measured & cut to fit the cabinet... We were so angry lah... cuz we thought that the cabinet & table, by right, shd have been done & the 3 items shd have been measured long ago alreadi mah... Whatever lah... super unhappy with his doing things....

Anw, that was all about the reno... Next is the furniture...

ARGH..... was so so so angry oso.... we were waiting for the furnitures the whole day at the house on Saturday...Cuz we haf 3 suppliers...

The sofa that came is so so so so very chio, which makes us happie lah, but the small cushion tat came with it was a (-_-)"'.... I ordered 3 black small plain cushion & it came 2 small cushion. 1 ugly dull red & another brown with chinese wording " lai er fu etc etc etc" Kns lah... so unmatch wif my chio sofa... Of cuz we wanna them to take back & get us 3 PLAIN BLACK CUSHION lah.... Crazy ah.. Think I will accept!!!

Then, the dining table... The dinin table is chio oso... But the chairs arent!!!Okie.. the chair is chio but the legs of the chairs arent... It was rusty lah!!!! What the hell... Of cuz we rejected lor....

Next the shoe rack... again!!! The mirror of the shoe rack has a crackat the corner!!!!! Of cuz lah... CHANGE!!!!

Up is my dressing table.. This is the power one!!!! Okie.. including this, all I mention above came from the same supplier.... The item was supposedly to be deliver on 16th May rite... I did call all supplier 3 times before to double cfm everything since 2-3 weeks before ah... I got a call from a lady on 15th May, a day before... Telling me that my dressing table paint will come off after some times as I will put my cosmetics & blah blah blah on top ( I req for a spray of black glossy paint as I had searched thru their whole warehouse plus catelogue, but cant find a black dressing table to match wif my furnitures, Hubby paid an extra of $80 for spraying), so I asked e lady y the paint will come off leh? She replied saying that she dunno, the workers told her that... Den, I replied telling her that I dun mind, I can buy a spray can myself to spray if the paint came off.... Den, she say isnt it too troublesome for mi... I told him nvm... I want a black dressing table means I want a black one!!! She say she try to find a black one for mi... den i told her I search their whole warehouse & to no avail wor.. & she asked mi wat about a walnut 1.. of cuz I dun want lah...den i said i wan a black one to be deliver the next day, & thats it!!!!

After hanging the phone, I told hubby t check throughly on the dressing table when it arrives the next day... As I tink the lady was trying to psycho mi to change to annother walnut colour 1 not to spray it.. so I noe they cfm haven spray my table!!!!

& Its true lah!!! I recd a call from e lady in the noon on 16th May, she said that the dressing table was not dry yet... Gosh, Hubby was super angry & told him that we did order so early & called to cfm with them so many time & its their fault, & said he wanna it the day no matter what & hang the phone!!!

Den, a guy called... he said that the dressing table had not dry yet & its impossible to send as we will cfm reject it when we saw it... So, hubby question him asking why did they oni spray the day before its been delivered... & I asked the guy what did the order form stated? Does it stated Black glossy paint to be spray?He said Yesh. & when did I called? He say he dunno.Den, I told him I can tell him when did I call lor.. I called 3 times altogether, each a week... & Its not our fault & asked him how is he gonna compensate us... Hence, in the end, e 80 bucks is been waived off.... & the faulty items to be send together with the dressing table on this friday evening....

Next up is another supplier.. They are alrite .. Just that my girl's bed, one of the dolphin has a white line.. & asked them to change the dolphin e cuming friday too.... Quite satisfied with this supplier...

After that, the samsung delivery... Gosh... I bought from Harvey Norman, & the guy told him that samsung will ask their man to cum to mount the tv on the wall for my from 1-3pm.. & we waited & waited.. till 5pm den they came... Ws very pissed off throughout the waiting.. cuz the Harvey norman guy cant reach the coordinator at all the the hours & we dunno when the service man will reach, dun expect us to wait till 8 or 9pm...

Anw, the samsung serviceman finally reach at 5pm & mount the tv for us... But the tv does not come with the wire, so I went to the mart beside to get it.. Meanwhile, Hubby sae our bed, bedframe & coffeetable arrive at the same time... So, hubby ws too distracted & abit confusing to check here & there & he forgot about the warrenty card for the tv... I tot the serviceman muz like hand them to us personallly... Nope.. They did not.. They even just throw all the plastic & cardboard in my living room....So, I got to throw them myself beside the chute outside at the lift dere...

Everything settled like till 7pm... & we washed up & go for our dinner.. It was till Amk den hubby remember about the warrenty card for the tv lah... Hence, we rushed back lah, if not what if its not in our house & its in the carboard & will be realli discard away by the sweeper... We rushed back to find.. cant find in our house... & so we go n search from the cardboard which I discarded... Gosh... The warrenty was so nicely trapped in between of the corners of the cardboard, that if u wun notice that if u neva digged into it... Luckily... But I wld say its not easy... & we finally have a house of our own...

Yesh, we are young.. But we will not be bully so easily... & Im very happy & satisfied with what I have now!!!

We will be going to the law firm tml... To discuss with the lawyer the compensation & blah blah blah regarding the accident... This things has drag till now since January.. The assistant was supposedly to ask us down for an interview with the lawyer... She said she sent a letter to us for the interview... BUT...But...but... WE DID NOT RECD THAT!!! & she did not even get back to us when we did not report at the law firm on that specifc date in JAN... Oh man!!! What the hell is she doing??!!!

Im gonna question the assistant tml...

We knew about the interview all because hubby called the law firm & actually wanna inform them about our change of address!!! What the hell lah!!! Just what are them doing...

Just another family outing....

We prepared & went back to our new house in the morning to meet our contractor... Purpose is to pass him the lightings that we bought...

& Did I mention that we REALLY spend like a thousand at IKEA???!!! Oh my, got a shock that we indeed spend that much dere... Okie.. I lay this amt for Ikea, but tot mebbie we wun spend that much & can use the leftovers money for other stuff like Sheng Siong or electrical appliances... Argh.. Nvm....

Anw, after meeting the contractor, we went to IMM... Had Burger King... Went Daiso & spend another $60!!!!

Dun be mistaken.. we are not those spendthrift person... We bought those items that we need...

After combing the mall ( Its boring lah)... I suggested to hubby to go to Kranji Resort... I wanna see how has it changes, as in how developed it is by then....

Disappointing lah... Its THE SAME!!!!

Okie.. Its dinner time... Both Hubby & me wanted to have porridge act... But Xuan saw the big live seafood & she insisted on eating CRABS.... She say she wanna eat crabs & wanted nothing else... I dun agree to Xuan but Hubby, on the other hand simply loves her girl too much, goes her way & gave the green light... Argh... He really pampered her too much le lah...

I dun agree in pampering Xuan so much lah, thou I also love her alot, so I told her mummy got no money le.... & Gosh... Xuan say nvm... Daddy has money.. *fainted*

Hence, in the end... we had our dinner here...Thanks to Xuan & daddy... ( I love crabs, but mebbie I tot another time, as we had realli spend too much for the past month for our new home)

The food is so delicious lah, esp the BIG CRABS... So sweet & tender!!! Serving is big too.... But some things are abit overpriced... Nevertheless, a very yummilicious dinner!!!

We had tried crabs from many places... Amk for many times, Long Beachx2, jumbo Seafoodx2, BottleTreex1 etc... I think Bottletree has the best Black Pepper Crab... Amk has the nicest Bee Hoon Soup Crabs...Chilli crab erm... I dunno wor... As after I had black pepper, I dun realli eat chilli crab anymore....

After our dinner, we went prawning at the same place... BottleTree is big...

It has been so long since we went home in the midnight alreadi...

Finally.... We are going to Ikea Tampines later....

Of cuz this time... Its different!!! Because FINALLY & AT LAST we are able to BUY the stuff... & Its not 1 or 2 things... Its MANY!!!!

Hahahaha... I have prepared a thousand for the shopping spree at Ikea... However, I dun think we will be spending that much over there.... In any case, that amt will be fully used for whatever item for our home sweet home...

We might use that to buy electrical appliances if there are leftovers money supposedly lay for the Ikea spree...

& Im so happie & so glad that my girls are so nice lah!!! Love your to the bits... They are so nice that they wanna pass me the vouchers for Courts or Harvy Norman first to let me buy some of the things for my housewarming... As they felt that I actually need the vouchers before my housewarming...

Dun they know me better???!!!!

They really understand me wor!!!!

Next time when ur cum over for stayover, dun worry.. I will cook a very sumptuous meal for all of you!!!!

Just some random pictures we took at Tampines one last Saturday...

Anw, the mall is so packed on a weekend... I wanna to go in Queen's Ave to see the bag but its so acked inside the shop... I only managed to see some of their agnes B collection... I will be back with Audrey to get it!!! hahaha.... Its only a matter of time.... (",)

Very randomly...

We have got all the door knobs which our contractor need... Besides that, we have bought all the switches too.... We went all the way to Jalan Besar to get them wor... Actually, we went to The Plaza to redeem a gift from Diners Club... Den, we were supposed to go to Jalan Sultan to search for our door knob... But, we cant find the exact location for the shop " Shanghai tong" ( okie, we are able to find the street Jalan sultan only).... Hence, we gave up & decided to search forour switch first... Fortunately, we found a shop selling affordable door knob too...

You must be wondering why must we travel all the way to Jalan Besar to get the switches rite??? hahahaha... Its way cheaper lah!!!! Cheaper by over $10 hor... FOR A SWITCH, fyi... Hence, I bought 9 switches... & I paid $63 for them... Therefore, we saved a total of ard $60!!!! Fyi, different switches have different prices... Its just a roughly guide... We bought grey switches to match with the design of our home...

Arent Princess Xuan pretty with her head band??? Hubby bought for her at Vivo earlier on...lol... There are 2 braids summore.. Cute hor??!!

Hubby alwuz wanna try new flavour of drinks... & IT alwuz turn out very AWFUL!!!! He sae he wanna try the Macha Latte... Argh... It taste like green tea with milk....lol...

I still prefer Princess Xuan's choice of drink.... Hot Chocolate!!!

Anw, we went our house & checked yesterday... Cuz I wanna see how much the contractor had done to our house... They are fast... as all the stuff that was to be hacked was hacked... & they are still working on sunday... Touched wor!!! The worker told hubby that they are able to lay the floor tiles for the kitchen today already....

Had been spending quite alot recently... By saying alot... I mean it!!! ALOT!!!!

Anw, many friends have been asking me what do I need for my housewarming... hahaha... Ronald, Audrey, Kris etc etc.... Okie... Dun say I bu yao lian hor... I name down the things that I want... hahaha.. Litat I can save money & also get the necessary stuff that I need...

Not in order... Cuz I need them ALL!!!!! hahahaha... I mean it...

1. 19 or 21" LCD TV for my master bedroom

2. Bread Toaster ( A simple one will do, becuz I love toast bread, but dun like to toast in oven)

3. Vaccuum Cleaner.. ( I love the Phillips one, u know, that one with alot of vibrant colours one..haha)

4.The bake cake thing one... I dunno whats that call... But, its able to beat egg plus many many function.

5.Wii Set ( Princess Xuan wants this, & Hubby & me got to get for her)

6. Mahjong Table + Mahjong set...( The table I want is with green top one, better to have table with mahjong set together, kekekeke)

7. Sound Bar ( something like amplifier??? Im not sure) Because there is a free home theatre set that comes with my Plasma, But we upgrade the plasma to a better & more expensive one... The free gift becomes another one... Different free gift comes with different TV set.

We got our keys yesterday...

Den we met up with our contractor this afternoon & renovation will start TML...

YESH!!! ITS TML!!!

Hence, the renovation will takes about 3 weeks to complete...

So, tentatively, the completion date will be ard 20th May!!! We are very excited...

Besides that, we went Balestier to search for our lightings for our whole house...

The big hot sun made our job so tiring & tedious, but den it's so meaningful & everything is worthwhile when we made so much effort to create our lovely home...

Below is the lightings that we bought ( opps, no picture)

1. Princess Xuan's room... She chose the light herself...

2. Hanging lights for our dining area

3. Masterbedroom lighting

4.Spare room lighting

5. 2 lights for toilets x2

6. 2 lights for the kitchen

Therefore, we are short of standing lamp for the living room now... The door knob for 3 rooms & the main door... The switch for the whole house... The wall decals ( which seem very hard to find a nice & cheap 1... sekali I got to draw myself...haha)

Princess Xuan was sick for the past few days...

I can sensed that she is unwell on last Friday when I brought her to school in the morning... She was not running any temperature at that moment... I just noticed that her lips was kinda red... Hence, I went to get "Ling Liang" for her myself at the mall once she was in the school...

Back from school, after bathing, after lunch, as usual, my girl will be watching the tv for about 1-2 hours before she will be KO...

When she was sleeping... I touched her & realise that she was quite warm... & upon checking on her temperature, it was 38.1

So, took Princess Xuan to the clinic... It was a fever virus... Common as children tend to be sick once in a while... I dunno... But heard from adults before that its part of the growing up.. They tend to "grow up" after falling sick... To what extend of growing up... erm.. I am not very sure either....

Anw, I haf a pain sore throat too... Me too, went to the clinic last Saturday.... Argh!!! Still hurting now!!!

Good news btw, the seller will be moving TODAY!!! & thus, we will be getting our key from them tml... Its tml, u know!!! Tml.... Im like so excited now... & our contractor can start on the work on Wednesday already... Im so happie that we just gt to wait for another 1 month & all will be ready... My dream house... My super chio kitchen, living room, toilet & room... hahaha...

Btw, anyone knows where to get nice beautiful wall decals? I cant find any nice one... I just need mebbie 2 pieces, request by the interior designer, to do something to my living room....

Cheap 1 of cuz... I found it somwhere but den the price is quite steep... A very small pieces & required $65... & I tink its not enuff...

Anw, our cost of the renovation keep on increasing as we keep on adding things... hahahaha...

Oh my!!! I think hubby is so damn blur lah... He actually forgot to take the $20 which he had pressed from the ATM machine this morning!!!!

While he was paying for the food, hubby realised that he had forgotten to take the 20 bucks he askd me to return to the atm machine to see if its still there...

I returned ( atm machine is very near to the coffee shop) & saw an auntie withdrawing money...

Hubby asked me to go ask the auntie if she had seen the money... Aiyoh... of course the auntie will deny lah...

Some random photos I took weeks ago.. Cant really remember when already...

Just remember that we went Bugis to get our laptop fixed... & we had the Hotpot Tom yam introduced by the Tv programme...

This served the nicest Tom yam we have tasted so far outside... The taste is just right... The hotness is just right... Everything is so delicious... But, Suer long queue & no air con as we were sitting outside... Hence, the hotness doubled both "inside" & "outside"...

We went to Suntec City for shopping after that... Had Korean dinner that night...As I was craving for the rice cakes... Erm... that meal was so full as we ordered 2 same dishes... Argh... Why didnt that waitress tell us we had ordered 2 identical stuff???!!!

Hubby & me loved their chopsticks...I even suggested to him that we should bring them home... lol..

The side dish is very nice!!!

This is actually SUPER BIG steamboat wor...The menu say for 2 pax..But we felt that its actually for 4 people!!!

Went Jalan Kayu for prata dunno when already... We ordered prata & roti John...

Okie.... Below is the entry where we went to Thomson for brunch, Amk Hub, Tagore Lane to search for all the plates & bowls, Pasir Ris for Princess Xuan to fish & Giant for dinner....& yah.. It was yesterday!!
I tel you... This was GREAT!!! & I mean it... The meat is so tender, the skin taste like jelly & it was neither too salty or blend.. The taste is just right... & It so cheap... We ordered so much & its only $16 only lah!!!

We went to TPY for Bak Kut Teh weeks ago, & it costs Hubby about $50 hor....

There are so so so many ingredients inside the soup.. & Its big serving!!! We cant even finish the mest inside...

We love to soak the You Tiao into the soup & eat it soggy... Thats our way of eating... For we, I mean Hubby, me & Princess Xuan...

Princess Xuan loves this the most... I would say this dish is really one of the best!!! I dun really like Tau Kee... But, I will give two thumbs up for this!!!

Then, we went to Tagore Lane---> Amk Hub to check on the price of lightings---> Pasir Ris

Princess Xuan is happily feeding the fishes with the $3 fishing bites...

My girl is actually fishing & she caught a fish... She was passing the rod to the in-charge & gonna to exchange for her prize which is the fighting fish in those cups which is in the following pictures!!!

Arent Princess Xuan's fringe like mine??? Lol.. Actually I was the one who cut her fringe for her... haha.. I cut hers like 2 weeks ago as the fringe is too long & kept poking her eyes... Den, it inspired me to cut my fringe, like hers too!!!! hahahaha....

Princess Xuan asks us to do a fierce face... But den, she was not fierce... She was actually CUTE!!! Argh... she bluff us..

I shall reveal the secret now!!!

As I had mention in my previous ( quite a number) posts that Hubby & me are been very busy nowadays rite???!!

Yesh... We are busy with our NEW HOUSE!!!

We had plan to get our very own house when we were back in Singapore from Taiwan way back in year 2007 July...

We have been balloting from HDB ever since from that date... However, to no avail... Tried for a year & still we did not manage to get any flat from OUR VERY OWN GOVERNMENT!!!!

( Roll eyes)

All along, I had wanted to get a flat in Sengkang or Punggol as the houses in this 2 areas are newer... New as in, build in the year 2000 & onwards... However, since Im not successful in etting the flats from this area from the government, we tried from the open market!!!!

Gosh... open market ( resale, if some of you dunno) prices are like way way high during the year when we are back in Singapore...Asking cash is like 10k & above during those peak period...

Hence, Hubby & me were like (o_o) when most seller wanted that ridiculous amount.... & for the 2 areas that I wanted is like out of our budget... Asking cash=$10000 plus valuation=$265000 (First floor for your info, the higher the level, the more ex it will be) & above... Aiyoh... How can we sustain our monthly bill if we really buy the flat...

Therefore, Hubby even suggest that we shall get a 3 room flat... ( okie.. all along we wanted a 4 room flat), I was like sian half when he told me that... But, what to do... He is the only 1 working... We cant just spend all our money just by paying the asking cash to some random strangers right?

I shall say God is so good & fair to us... As suddenly, the economy was so bad due to the Leman Brothers ( I dunno how to spell) thingy... Recession everywhere... Prices of HDB dropped... Hurray.... Our wish to get a 4 room flat resurface again... lol...

Hubby went to get an agent ( recommend by his friend), whose name is Lynne ( I think, I forgot already)... took so long to contact us everytime... We told her that we wanted a 4 room flat but we dun wish to pay too much of the cash to any random seller... She was like so slow in doing everything... We did not even get to view any flat from her side...

Nvm... As everyone knows that, buyer has no committment... Why shd I stick to an agent who give me shitty service... Hence, Hubby has another lobang from his another friend... She then introduce her cousin Pauline, who is an agent from ERA, to us...

I will say Pauline gave us EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC & SUPERB service... After hubby called her on Friday, telling her our requirments for a flat... She immediately took us to view the flat on the following day wor!!! Thats very efficient right???!!! We even told her that we dun want to take out too much cash, & she din even gave us any roll eyes face... & she even bring us to some 4 room flat for viewing...

I was so happy lah... Cuz that Lynne said that with our budget, we cant get a 4 room flat... However, Pauline managed to find some 4 room flats that is within our budget for us to view... Actually, I tink it depends on whether the agent is sincere or hardworking anot... Of course, for my character, we stick to Pauline as our agent... We were very happy & satisfied with her good service... For that Lynne right, hubby rejected her call from then on... With her kind of service, we shall see when she will be taking zer0 commision home...

Anyway, We got one of the 4 room flat that we viewed on that very day... Fast right... Okie, actually that was during Dec-Jan 2008.... With all the paper work etc etc ( many things lah), we will be getting our keys in mid April from the seller... By right, we will be getting the key on 30th Mar 2009 ( Okie...I know it has passed), but, as the seller only took little cash from us, & they need cash from selling the house before they can get another house, so we agreed to let them to stay for 1-2 more months... ( Give & take right)....

We have already bought our furniture, electrical appliances, look for interior designer already...haha.. Im like so so happy as I had always thought that I cant get an interior designer to design my home... But, its within our budget & hubby agreed to it....

Therefore, we have been meeting with our designer for the past few Saturday to choose our tiles, discussing about the design that we want etc etc...

Im so so so looking forward to see my new house which will took a month for renovation...

& we can only move in in mid May... Anw, Its like so near already... Im so so so impatient to invite friends for stayover... Audrey, Xiu, Vien & Beryl... Get ready for a stayover with me leh...hahaha... We can play Wii & mahjong...lol...

We will be meeting the designer again this coming Saturday to see the 3d Proporsal drawing... & finalise on the painting colour of the room...

For your info, anyone has lobang on office jons, preferably from 9-5pm... Im looking for a job currently... will be putting Princess Xuan in childcare once I moved... Actually, CMPB had wanted me ( I went for an interview already) to work as a discipline exec... But after serious consideration, I rejected them... As timing will be from 8-5.30pm & its at Depot Road... I will sure to haf problem fetching Princess Xuan to & fro school when Hubby is outstation... Nvm, its okie... Im still waiting for Ministry of Education to get back to me... If they dun accept me, I shall go & look for job again once everything is settle...

Hubby did not rush me to find job... He had wanted me to settle down & relax for a few months before getting a job... However, I dun want him to be too xinku...

Anw, we are really very happy lah...

hahaha... I shall come out with a list of things that I wanted for house warming ah...lol...

Had a little shopping at Orchard with Audrey...

Audrey came to meet me at Orchard right after her tuition!!!

Our target is to head to Burberry, Gucci & Coach to check on prices of the bags...lol...

I'm so confusing now!!! I dunno what I should buy... In fact, I dunno what I should ask hubby to buy for me...hahahaha...I'm more keen on Gucci & Burberry...

Never Mind, Audrey... Lets go comb Orchard boutiques again during June Mid Year sale... hahaha... Then, we spend together hor???!!!

Anw, we shopped for 1-2 hours & we have to move off to Amk Hub to meet up with the others...

As we are rushing for time, Audrey went Isetan to get Vien's vouchers & I headed to Chanel to get my liquid foundation...

Journey was fast actually...

However, we were late...sorry girls... As you know lah, its kinda tourblesome to walk towards the MRT station with Princess Xuan... Hence, taking the bus from Lido is more convenient...hehe...

Burn a big big hole in my pocket yesterday... I spent 1k for buying something BIG!!!! hahahaha...

Hence, There is a drop in my bank account now!!!! Argh... lol... I should contribute something too rite... I cant ask hubby to pay for everything....lol....

Nvm... I can earn that amount of money back...soon... Real soon... lol..Hubby & I have lots of secret plans nowadays....(",)

I really spent alot lately... & I have just bought my cleanser for daily use from Bliv ( a product from cellnique)...Okie...I did not waste money on this as my Clarins cleanser is used up already... Squeeze till dry le wor....(",)

Besides that, I bought a toner & Bliv "gone with the heads" serum too... Its really effective!!! I only use for 2 days & the black/white heads on my T-zone is like getting lesser & lesser... Worth my money lah!!!

Hubby did not nag at me as he knew that its an essential needs for this products... I think he also dun want to bring a huang lian po out...lol.....

Anyway, we brought Princess Xuan to Science Center yesterday... She really enjoy hersef there thou she dun realli understand much of the reason behind the experiment... She only understand the 5 senses part.... But its kind of a good place rather than shopping...

& nope, we did not go to the Imax Theatre as Im afraid Princess Xuan is afraid of the theme " sea monster"...Hence, we only went to the Gallery....

A cheap & interesting place to visit....$6 for entrance fee only!!!

We went to the DIY store to get some wallpaper for Princess Xuan.... Super pretty wallpaper... & really worth the price for $40+.... Unlike those velvet kinda wallpaper, they are so expensive ( same price) but with only 2 pieces inside a package....

Hubby Brought me to some places to settle some of my personal stuff... ( Am not going to reveal so soon)---> I know Im being very secretive nowadays, okie... There's a reason ehind everything!!! Its still not the time to say anything yet...

Anyway, we met up with Kris for lunch & after settling my personal thing, we went to IKEA for a walk then to Anchorpoint... Boring shopping mall is all I can said!!!

As its a wednesday, & hubby still has work the following day, hence we settle our dinner at east coast & went back home...

Its a must to have my all-time favourite Hokkien Fried Prawn noodles there... Its wet, juicy, just the right taste for the combi of mee & chilli... Portion is big with fresh squid & prawns... & there is more than 5 prawns hor... Really a bonus lah...Most importantly, I love the tou Kay... Yummy...The best fried prawn mee I have ever eaten... I would definitely eat this whenever we went east coast... Okie.. Im long winded!!!

Hehe... I saw people eating this & I got tempted... In fact, I should say that WE got tempted....hahaha... Its so crispy & has abit of chao tar taste which Hubby & I love... (",)v

The sauce is nice too... we love it..

In all, hubby love the Tau Pok more whereas I prefer the You tiao more...

This is also a MUST-HAVE dessert when I went there... I got the cold one this time round as the weather is so super hot!!!Okie.. Not able to see the MANY liao inside the Ching Deng....

underneath the layer of ice, there are so many LIAO lor... All my favourite lah...Except for the ginko nuts which I offered to hubby....hahahaha...

Disappointment on Last Saturday!!!!

Supposedly to swim on a Saturday... We were so happiy & excited, especially Princess Xuan, to be able to go Chevrons for a swim after a long time.... But we only swim for 1/2 hours & it started to pour with thunder & lightning!!!! Argh......

Hence, wearing our swimsuit only ( mind you,I was in a bikini, hubby in a squarepants truck & Princess Xuan in her pink suit) & waited for the STUPID rain to stop for a freaking 2 hours lah!!!!!!!!!

So, after the 2 hours, finally Princess Xuan & hubby were persuaded by me to go and take a shower & stopped the hectic waiting for the pathetic rain to stop!!!!! Cz I dun want to wait anymore... We looked like a idoit waiting there...

Some swimmers has booked a chalet there... Hence, they are able to hide in their cosy little chalet room to wait for the sun to come out... But, we are waiting in the open hor!!!! True that we have towels on... But, towel was wet & we need to dry them as we got to use it to dry ourselves later after the shower!!!!

Anyway, just as I was saying... we went for the shower right??? & after we came out from the shower & stepped out of the washroom... Horror lah!!!!!!!!!!

THE RAIN HAS STOPPED!!!!!

We waited for a pathetic 2 hours... finally decided to be in something dry & comfy & after washing up, it stopped raining!!!

Hubby & me can see the disappointment on our precious girl's face!!!

She wanted to swim so much!!!

So, hubby might be bringing us for a swim again the coming Saturday...

V day Celebration!!!

Hubby & me just had our anniversary celebration... Hence, our V day will be a simple 1!!!!

We went for Teochew Porridge in the morning...

Den, a little shopping at Suntec City & Marina Square...I saw so many couples wearing so nicely & formal at the mall!!! Besides that, girls are holding pretty bouquet of roses... So sweet lah!!! I even saw an old auntie holding it, you noe... I was like... Gosh... so loving & sweet... Here comes our highlight for the night!!!!

Okie...We shouldnt have come for this with so many ulcers in my mouth....hahaha...But, I just really have the cravings for this!!! So, I dun care... & I had promised Princess Xuan that her daddy & mummy will be bringing her for her favourite dish for dinner!!!

Hence, off we go to East Coast for the night!!!!!

Its super crowded for the night... All the seafood restaurant is full... We had Jumbo Seafood before & hence, we decided to have dinner at Long Beach this time round... & we think that they really have the widest range of fresh seafood...

Hubby have a craving for this ever since we tried at Vivo... However,Musselious is only selling at $3.50 per oyster... But...but...but... here is selling for $10 per oyster lah... *Faint*... so, we only ordered 2 pieces... For your info, they are the SAME size hor... SAME SIZE LEH!!!!!!!!!!!! &%#^)&^$^%&*&%@#^*^&*

This is my ger favourite...She loves clam so much... I think its very tasty lah...but feel that the portion is abit small for $16/$18... Thos shell at the bottom ( with no chilli covering) is actually EMPTY shell hor!!!! The chilli is "shiok" oso lor... Besides the small portion... Its actually a delicious dish...

A simple Stir Fried Ee Mee.... I love this dish leh... But hubby find it too blend... This is normally serve at wedding dinner.. U know, 1 of those last few dishes when you are already bloated & they still served u noodles!!!! Mushroom crunchy... Noodles is nice.. Overall, a nice 1 too!!!
The main dish of the night... Princess Xuan had 2 "crab drumstick" wor...The "gong" is as big as a drumstick....lol... Princess Xuan loves them!!! So do I.... The meat is so fresh, firm & sweet lah!!! Hubby prefers Black pepper crab to Chilli crab....Im fine with anything as long as its BIG CRAB!!!! hahahaha....

Hubby dun takes dessert... So, I ordered this ice-cream Black Glutinious( Gosh, izzit spell this way???) Rice to share with Princess Xuan... The way of presentation is so beautiful... the dry ice at the bottom inside the green syrup keeps causing the smoke...Hence, in the dark surrounding, its really very nice!!!

After our dinner, we went for a walk... play at the funfair... Saw lots of couples camping at East Coast...Romantic..Romantic!!!*Giggles*

We are celebrating our Wedding Anniversary today!!!! As I had mentioned, I had already got hubby the present, including myself & Princess Xuan share too...

We left our place at 9.30am for breakfast first before going for our appointment at 11am....

Still wondering whats the gift that I had given to hubby?

Hubby & myself got to relax while Princess Xuan can enjoy herself in the Jacuzzi...

Anyway, our package included a body scrub, steam bath & body massage.

Hubby---> Sea Salt & Milk body scrub (40mins)

Steam bath (20mins)

Traditional Balinese massage (90mins)

Me---> Kemiri Body Scrub ( 40mins)

Steam Bath ( 20mins)

Aromatherapy massage ( 60mins)

Alright... All I can said is...

*SHIOKNESS*

But, rather awkward initially as this is my first time for spa & massage...

We have to be half naked for the scrub & massage wor...hahahaha...

For guys, it should be no problem as they are always half-naked anyway... However, for me... hahahahaha... Okie... After a while, Im okie with that already....(",)

As for the Steam bath, Gosh... Its really steam-ing... So hot lah!!!! We were being scrub first & then steam bath is the next thing...

Hubby was asked to take a shower after his scrub before entering for the steam bath... However, for me, I was being asked to go directly for the steam bath after my scrub without having to go for shower...

Hence, Hubby commented that Im like a steam minced meat with flavouring wor... Cuz my scrub was something similar to salt too....lol... Okie.. I also have the feeling that Im like a Ba Chor....

The steam bath is really so hot that I cant stand it after 15mins & I just go for my shower...hahaha... I dun wanna to be a Chao Tar Ba Chor!!!!!

Therefore, I drag Princess Xuan to go for the shower with me... After a while, hubby cant stand the hotness too, & came in for the shower also...hahahaha...

& next is our massage... This is the shiokness lah....lol...

On a side note, Princess Xuan broke a glass accidentally... We were not asked to pay for that...

I would say that this spa provides excellent service... Good massage, nice attitude & friendly personalities of the staff...

Our Ginger tea... Taste so much like Teh Halia...Only without the milk...

& I would say its really really SUPER fresh.... This oysters are so big & they dun have the smelly smell & taste of the fried oyster you eat in the coffee shop!!!!

Taste best with a few drops of Tabasco & lemon...

Soup of the day---> Mushroom soup... This is very yummy too!!!

We are taking photos as Hubby was chatting on the phone... Hubby's aunt sms him asking if he did buy "a number" for today 4D... Hence, we checked the result & saw that hubby has strike Starter for the number... The number came in as a 2nd prize last wednesday wor... & today, the number appeared as the starter!!!! Lucky number hor???

Hubby's grandma is even luckier because she bought the number for both last wednesday & today wor... Really very lucky right???!!! lol...

After that, we went to get my prezzie at TANGS...Hubby got me a Calvin Klein baggie... Its a plain grey baggie... I like baggie to be plain so I can match them with my clothes easily...

Den, we went Giant & shop ard & got a bubble maker for our girl...

After getting the bubble maker, Princess Xuan kept saying she wanna go home & play with that...

Hence, we brought her to the playground to play with her new toys after reaching home...

BBQ wif the Hengchun peepzzz....

A very happy night for my little Princess... Because she gets to see her buddies, Lele & Didi aka Gorgor now ( since Didi has a didi now, okie...you shd know what Im refering)... 3 of them running here & there... running in & out of the living room...

As for us, we chatted... It was so relaxing to sit at the bench outside & chit chat all the way, with the breeze running through our hair from the seaview in front... *Shiok*

Im taking pictures with Baby An an & Princess Xuan suddenly said:

hahahahaha... Hence, asking me girl to join in...

Very cute right? We think that Baby An looks more handsome than Gorgor...

Princess Xuan's romper is to match with the black long sleeve collar top, but, BBQ will surely be so hot & hence I got her a white tube to wear inside the romper... However, the white tube is so loose that it kept dropping... So, I search through my wardrobe & found a white spag which I dun wear anymore & cut off the straps, & asked hubby to sew the 2 straps on Princess Xuan's tube & make it into a halter neck....lol...

Anw, our dinner for that night was like super alot of stuff.... Firstly, we had fried bee hoon with fried chicken wings... Den, we had bbq chicken wings, satay, otah & hotdogs...

After eating all the stuff, Im like so bloated already.. But, hubby said that the buffet is cocked up & it will arrive at 9pm... & when the buffet finally arrive... we are like so damn full alreadi...

So, I shared with hubby the plate of fried rice, mapo tofu, some meat & vegs.... cereal prawns...

The kids were too happily enjoying their dessert of Grass Jelly Longan....

An enjoyable night with a group of frenz....

& yah, Alison arrived very late too... Kris, Alison & me had a little chat..

Okie...Shopping mall was so quiet, hence... We dare to take pictures in the mall.... Machiam some tourists ah...lol...

This year "he pan" is really a disappointment... No Funfair, No much attractions... Food stall was alocated/squeezed at a side... Super crowded just to buy some snacks... Wasted my trip there... Wasted a super not worth it $30 bucks to eat fried mee goreng & macaroni+ others pasar malam snacks... I can used the money to dine at any Crystal Jade La Mian Restaurant lah...

Organisers, please dun organise this such thing for the sake of organising only...Its such a waste of time & money...I mean, MY TIME & MONEY!!!!

Den, dere is this maid whu is bringing Xuan's classmate(boy) to school too... The maid told mi tat the boy's elder bro( a secondary school, shd be sec 1 or 2 bah, boy whu looks abit mixed) said tat he likes Princess Xuan....haha...

Cz tat time this elder bro followed the maid to bring his little bro to school too....hahaha...Tink It was like during e 1st week of school time....lol...

Went Chinatown for our goodies shopping... It was act a "mai dong xi chi dong xi" trip wor... Tink we will be eating sumthing at least every few hours passed.

Mi best hubby knew that I alwuz haf a craving for Dim Sum, so he brought us to this shop to haf our brunch...

The porridge is good... & the lotus leaf rice is yummi too... Best thing is its not too ex as compared to a famous Dim Sum shop dere...

We had Pu er tea... Hubby's faourite wor...

Yesh, as I said, I colour mi hair to those darker brown version which appear like shade of purple under the sunlight... wif red & orange highlite.. Its dun seem v bright rite???!!! hahahaha.... At least I felt that this colour dun make mi hair look so dry as compared to the previous ah-lian colour wor...Look more classy wif this colour thou Im not an elegant person....hahahaha

We din buy lotsa thing as it was a last-minute decision to shop at Chinatown....

I got this so-called magic toy for Princess Xuan which was abit lame after I bought it & read the instruction inside... Lame lah!!!! Waste mi $5!!!!

U asked the toy to sit, it will sit.. asked it to dance, it will dance... In fact U ask it to sleep, sit, dance & sleep...it will obey u...Magic??? Waste mi money lah...

We walked around the shopping mall & came across this dessert hut, the one shown on tv... Hence, hubby kept asking whether I wanna eat anot... hahahaha....

Den, we walked pass this shop & hubby suggested dinner dere... erm... Its a set dinner for 2 worth $32... Food was not bad... worth the price too...

We went Chinatown again to get more goodies for ourselves...

I bought so much goodies lah....lol....Mi favourite pineapple tarts, honeycomb biscuit, loveletters, Taiwan jelly & hantian, those small packet of nuts which hubby loves & more more more....

Tink hubby wanna go again one day of this week, cz we haf finish most of the goodies alreadi wor...Opps!!! hahahaha.....

We were like da bao xiao bao lor... Cuz I went dere to get more shampoo & conditioner too....haha... The Loreal brand for chemically treated hair... I bought $70 for both shampoo & conditioner which are like those extra big big bottle de... & omg, salon is selling like bt $85 for both shampoo & conditioner of those travel-like small tiny little bottle... Crazy rite... I bought Princess Xuan shampoo & body wash too... Pocket was like burning hole le lah....Argh....

Not to forget tat we still gt to bao hongbao ah....hahahaha

We went Suntec for shopping after tat as Chinatown is realli too packed... I had craving for Waraku & persuaded hubby to go eat tat wif mi....haha....

He wasnt v willing as its rather a long walk from Suntec to Marina... Gt to sai nai wif him for a while before he finally agreed to walk dere n dine at Waraku ( we parked our car at suntec mah)...
